Many of you will know that John Williams, husband to Pat and long time supporter of the Matchbox, passed away on September 30th. As a keen supporter of the group, founded by Pat over thirty years ago, a large number of us have many personal memories of his enthusiasm, humour and accommodating spirit as host of the Normanhust Festival as well as of his cameo appearances in a variety of our plays. With his funeral taking place this Wednesday such fond memories are at the forefront of our minds and we wish Pat and her family much love and the warmest of thoughts during this time.
