BTG FESTIVAL 2016

295

Oh my, can it really be over a month since last I put finger to keyboard. Tut tut!

That is not to say things have been quiet, indeed they are as busy as ever and I look forward to updating you on the rehearsals in progress for ‘Troilus & Cressida’ in the very near future.

In the meantime though, you might recall our March production of ‘One Man, Two Guvnors’ which was the group’s inaugural entry into the Bromley Theatre Guild play festival. If you are a follower on Facebook you will already know, then, that on Monday morning I received confirmation of the Festival nominees from BTG; The Matchbox has been nominated for the following categories:

ALLAN HOLLIDAY TROPHY: BEST ACTOR IN SUPPORTING ROLE

The nominations for Best Director and Best Production are not announced until the evening of the Finals.

The presentations take place on Friday 24th June 2016 and be sure that we’ll be well represented there.

More news as and when but it is wonderful testament to the hard work that goes on within the group to receive such positive representation in this community event. Congratulations to all.
